Ciliati

Ciliates are microscopic single-celled organisms that can be found in the seas, fresh
water, soil and wherever is water.
The name ciliates refers the hairs or arms called cilia which cover the cell.
They are used for swimming, crawling, attaching, eating and as sense organs.
The work is made of curved and welded stainless steel tubes. Lead has been poured
into the joint as a counterweight to balance the sculpture.
Just touch it gently to get an oscillating, up and down movement, try it to believe,
but without overdoing it….
